## Discovering the new access control turnstiles and speedgate developed and manufactured by NÜO Planet: a new generation of security
**NÜO SpeedGate** represents a new generation of smart speedgates and turnstiles for pedestrian access control, combining advanced security, artificial intelligence and a design created to integrate seamlessly into demanding architectural environments. ## What are access control speedgates used for in a building?
Speedgates and turnstiles create a **physical control point between a public area and a restricted area**, verifying that each person is authorised before allowing access.
They are particularly common in:
