**NÜO Planet, a Spanish manufacturer of high-security and access control solutions that develops proprietary technology to protect buildings, businesses and critical infrastructure, welcomes Madrid Directo on Telemadrid**, this time to offer an inside look at who we are, how we work and what lies behind the technology we develop at NÜO.
During the visit, we showcased our innovation model, based on in-house engineering, product development, manufacturing and R&D in Madrid, as well as our commitment to continuing to advance electronic security solutions capable of meeting the demands of increasingly challenging environments.
Engineering, manufacturing, innovation and proprietary technology applied to one of the most critical areas: **security and access control**.
## How we develop access control technology at NÜO Planet
Telemadrid visited our facilities to see first-hand how we work and how a security solution evolves from its earliest engineering stages through to final validation. Behind every NÜO product is a process that combines **electronic and mechanical design, software development, prototyping, testing and validation**, with the aim of creating robust and secure [access control systems designed to integrate into highly demanding buildings](https://nuoplanet.com/en/control-access-office-buildings/) and infrastructure.
## NÜO SpeedGate: a new generation of access control speedgates
During the programme, we also presented one of our latest innovations: **NÜO SpeedGate,** [**our new generation of speedgates for pedestrian access control and people-flow management**.](https://blog.nuoplanet.com/en/access-control-office-buildings-smart-speedgates)
These innovative **access control speedgates**, developed and manufactured entirely by [NÜO Planet](https://nuoplanet.com/en/), are designed to improve the way buildings manage high-traffic access points by combining advanced sensing technology, lightweight design, fast installation and proprietary technology.
Their architecture makes it possible to analyse pedestrian movement with high precision and manage situations commonly found in high-traffic environments, such as people carrying luggage, groups, children or complex movement patterns.
The objective is to provide **more accurate and seamless passage control without compromising either the user experience or building security**.
## NÜO Fly: touchless biometrics for high-security environments
Telemadrid's visit also gave us the opportunity to show [how we apply biometrics to high-security access control](https://blog.nuoplanet.com/en/https/blog.nuoplanet.com/en/what-is-biometric-security-and-what-can-it-bring-to-your-company). **NÜO Fly is a biometric reader developed by NÜO Planet that identifies users using two fingerprints without physical contact**, eliminating the need to touch the device.
The system is designed to combine fast identification, ease of use and high levels of security, making it particularly suitable for environments where identity verification is critical.
Touchless biometrics also creates a more natural access experience: users simply hold their fingers near the reader, the system performs the identification and, provided they have the appropriate permissions, access is authorised.
## Security technology developed in Madrid, Spain
The *Madrid Directo* visit offers an insight into some of the work we carry out every day at NÜO Planet to develop **access control, biometrics, speedgates and electronic security solutions using proprietary technology**.
From Madrid, we design and develop [systems for businesses, corporate buildings](https://www.interempresas.net/Seguridad/557274-Fortaleciendo-la-seguridad-en-espacios-corporativos-con-NUO-Planet.html), industry and critical infrastructure that need to control **who can access, where they can access and under what conditions**.
Our objective is to continue evolving physical security towards systems that are increasingly intelligent, connected and easy to use, without losing sight of what matters most: protecting people, spaces and information.
## What does NÜO Planet develop?
