The house is more than impressive in many ways. On the one hand, it really challenges heights, as it will be built on a cliff in the mountain Faqra, on the outskirts of Beirut (Lebanon), at an altitude of 1,600m. over the Aegean Sea. Embedded in the rock, it barely alters the image of the environment.
On the surface, only a spectacular infinity pool that serves as roof and filters the light throughout the whole house and a stairway access will be visible. The front, a huge glass façade respecting the verticality of the cliff, will provide spectacular views from the house.
The construction of the house will be made with simple materials such as concrete, glass, steel and wood, focusing the spotlight on the landscape and the breathtaking ocean views. A perfect combination of rock, light and water, with a completely light and airy concept.
The project is already underway and will be realized in 2018, year when of completion of the works. For those of you who are planning to give yourselves a whim... sorry, but the house already has an owner. This is Alex Demirdijan, CEO of Demco Properties.
